Who’s on the Trail provides a detailed snapshot of who’s traveling along the Canalway Trail network, where they come from, how often they ride or walk, and what motivates them. Through trail‐user surveys and on‐site counts, we capture usage by locals and out‑of‑town visitors alike, including demographics, trip purpose, and origin-destination patterns. The insights help highlight how the Canalway Trail contributes to local economies, supports active transportation and recreation, and reveals opportunities to enhance amenities, connectivity, and support for trail users across the region.
