join the fight for public lands

Every year, Park & Public Lands Advocacy Day brings together passionate park supporters from across New York to meet with lawmakers in Albany and make a strong, united case for investing in our state parks, historic sites, and public lands. This day of action gives your voice the power to shape policy, funding, and the future of our shared outdoor spaces.

We’re thrilled to announce that Park Advocacy Day has expanded to Park & Public Lands Advocacy Day this year to include more partners, stakeholders, and user-groups to join us in our annual effort to engage directly with policymakers in Albany. It is shaping up to be an unforgettable event, and we want you to be a part of it!

Couldn’t attend?

While we wish everyone could be in Albany to join us, you can still join the action virtually! Watch the recording of our morning program from 2026, featuring public lands leaders and discussions on this year’s priorities.
