Harney & Sons Love I Love My Park Day

Thank you Harney & Sons for generously supporting I Love My Park Day for the 4th year as a Champion Sponsor!

When John Harney began creating craft tea blends out of his basement in 1983, he never imagined that his small home-run business would turn into a global operation. Now headquartered in Millerton, NY, Harney & Sons fills 90,000 square feet of warehouse space, has a new bottling plant in Hudson, NY, and employs more than 200 people.

The company, which sources, blends, and packages their product from start to finish, has grown from their original six teas, to more than three hundred. In response to their enormous success, John brought in his two sons, Mike and Paul, to help run the business.

Today, Harney & Sons Tea remains family owned and managed, with three generations of Harneys preserving John's tradition of fine tea and traveling the world in search of the best ingredients.

Mike explains their family's commitment to New York’s parks, “Paul and I are pleased to assist with I Love My Park Day. We grew up loving the outdoors and enjoyed Copake Falls on the Massachusetts border. That is why the state park that we love the most is Taconic Sate Park!”

Check out their sumptuous selection of teas and be sure to thank them for supporting our beautiful parks!
