Meet our new Arthur V. Savage Intern

Our staff is growing by one this January, as we welcome Alison Baxter as our 2016 Arthur V. Savage intern. Her role will be to support community and legislative outreach, event coordination, and park policy research. Alison is currently a student at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, University at Albany and will graduate with a Master of Public Administration in May 2016. She is also currently interning at Healthy Schools Network, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to children’s environmental health. Dedicated to public service, she has prior experience from a state agency, a local government, AmeriCorps*VISTA, nonprofits, and international development.

The Arthur V. Savage Internship Program provides an opportunity for undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates with degrees in environmental studies to work in Albany with the PTNY staff.
