Will You Love Your Park on May 6?

The grass is showing, trees are budding and birds are chirping, all signs that spring is finally here! Every year, the beginning of spring is Mother Nature’s gentle reminder that I Love My Park Day is just around the corner! Volunteer registration for the sixth annual I Love My Park Day on May 6th is open!

On Saturday, May 6, join thousands of volunteers at state parks, historic sites and public lands across the state to help celebrate spruce up park lands and beaches, plant trees and gardens, restore trails and wildlife habitat, and more.

Last year, more than 7,500 volunteers pitched in to give back to parks at the fifth annual I Love My Park Day. This year’s event is going to be even bigger and better, with more than 125 state parks, historic sites and public lands participating, from Montauk Point to Niagara Falls.
