Connect Kids to Parks Grant Opportunity

The Connect Kids to Parks Grant Program offers up to $750 to cover transportation fees for Title 1 schools, K-12 classrooms to help connect New York public school children with exploring one of New York’s greatest treasures; a state park, nature center or historic site, or a Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Environmental Education Center.

The grant will cover reimbursement fees for bus costs, tolls, bus entry into the facility and any program fees, up to $750. Applications for field trips in the 2017-18 school year are now being accepted.
