protect the places you love

Join thousands of volunteers in caring for our state parks, historic sites, and public lands at New York’s largest single-day volunteer event. I Love My Park Day is a chance to roll up your sleeves and show some love for the public lands that we rely on. Stay tuned for volunteer registration!

Calling all hosts! From planning tools and fliers to social media posts and photo release forms–we have everything you need to host an I Love My Park Day event.

double your impact: partnering with riverkeeper sweep

We are thrilled to announce that for the second year, I Love My Park Day is joining forces with the Riverkeeper Sweep!

Since both of these incredible stewardship events fall on the same day, we’ve teamed up to make it easier for volunteers to support both land and water in a single outing. Volunteer at one of our featured dual-event sites and join two statewide movements at once—ensuring our public lands stay vibrant and our waterways remain clean and healthy.

About Riverkeeper Riverkeeper protects and restores the Hudson River, and safeguards drinking water supplies through community partnerships, science, and law. Their core programs improve water quality, restore habitat for an abundance of life, and address the impact of climate change on our waterways. Founded in 1966 as the Hudson River Fishermen’s Association, Riverkeeper became the model for more than 320 Waterkeeper organizations around the world and helped establish globally-recognized standards for waterway and watershed protection. They continue to work toward the goal of a swimmable, fishable, and drinkable Hudson River for all. Learn more, get updates, and support their work by visiting riverkeeper.org.
