On October 15-17, 2025, Parks & Trails New York held Creating Connections: The 2025 Empire State Greenways Conference in the historic city of Kingston, bringing together nearly 200 trail planners, government leaders, advocates, and greenway enthusiasts.
This three-day event offered a dynamic lineup of inspiring keynote speakers, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities–plus six field adventures exploring the scenic Hudson Valley by foot or bike.
