Pedal to Peebles on the Empire State Trail

Thank you to all the great participants that joined us on the Empire State Trail for a bike ride as part of the Hudson River Valley Ramble and Bike Your Park Day. The ride was from Albany along the banks of the Hudson River up to Peebles Island State Park in Cohoes. At the park, participants were led on a tour of the park which is rich in history and a short hike by the President of the Friends of Peebles Island State Park.
When: Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM
Where: Corning Preserve Boat Launch at the corner of Colonie and Water Streets underneath I-787. The ride continued up to Peebles Island State Park at a moderate pace (10-12 mph). The ride was roughly 10.5 miles in each direction for a 21 mile roundtrip.
Cost: No charge.
