Shuttle Bus

FOR 8-DAY RIDERS AT THE BEGINNING OF TOUR:

Albany to Buffalo -- Saturday- FOR 8-DAY RIDERS

A shuttle is available from Albany to Buffalo on Saturday for you and your bike for an additional fee of $100. (price increase after June 3, 2024). The shuttle will depart from Albany around 9:30 a.m. with a stop midway and an approximate arrival time of 4 p.m. at the Nichols School (the first overnight location). If you choose this option, you can park your car in Albany (long-term parking location Quackenbush Square Parking Garage —see Frequently Asked Questions), take the shuttle to Buffalo, and bicycle back to Albany. Spots on the shuttle are limited, so sign up early.

FOR 8-DAY RIDERS AT THE END OF TOUR:

Return Shuttle BUS from Albany to Buffalo -- Sunday

After biking all week across the state, a return shuttle at the end of the ride is available from Albany to Buffalo on Sunday for you and your bike for an additional fee of $100 (price increase after June 3, 2024). The shuttle will depart from the finish line at 1:30 p.m. with a brief stop midway and an approximate arrival time of 7 p.m. at Long Term Parking at Buffalo State University (there is NO parking at our start location at Nichols School). There will be lunch options available at the Finish line in Albany prior to boarding the shuttle. If you choose this option, you can park your car in Buffalo (long-term parking available—see Frequently Asked Questions), bicycle to Albany, and take the shuttle back to Buffalo.


FOR 4-DAY RIDERS AT THE END OF TOUR:

RETURN SHUTTLE BUS FROM SYRACUSE TO BUFFALO -- WEDNESDAY, JULY 10, 2024 AT 4 PM - FOR 4-DAY RIDERS

NO 4-DAY SHUTTLE BUS TO BUFFALO ON JULY 6-START OF TOUR

Please plan to arrive in Buffalo on Saturday. If you choose this option, you can park your car in Buffalo (long-term parking available—see Frequently Asked Questions), bicycle to Syracuse, and take the Wednesday afternoon shuttle back to Buffalo.

Leaving mid-week, a return shuttle is available for 4-day bikers from Syracuse to Buffalo for you and your bike for an additional fee of $70. (price increase after June 3, 2024). If you choose this option, you can park your car in Buffalo (long-term parking available—see Frequently Asked Questions), bicycle to Syracuse, and take the afternoon shuttle back to Buffalo.


to cancel your shuttle service, Look in FAQS under signing up and registration...what if i need to cancel my shuttle reservation?

SpACE on the shuttle BUSES IS limited. A waitlist will be created once the shuttle buses are filled (usually in early june), but there are no guarantees, so please sign up early.

Air Travel

There are a variety of low-cost airlines that fly into and out of both Albany and Buffalo airports. Check out their websites to get a list of the carriers.

Albany International Airport is located about 10 miles from downtown Albany.

Buffalo Niagara International Airport is 15 miles from downtown Buffalo.
