Bike Friendly New york

Ride, Rest, Refuel

Bike Friendly New York is a certification program from PTNY and the New York State Canal Corporation that recognizes businesses that support cyclists with essential services like bike parking, repair tools, and trail info. Open to businesses statewide, it helps riders find cyclist-friendly stops along the Erie Canalway Trail and beyond.

Launched in 2017, BFNY aims to recognize and promote businesses that provide special accommodations for bicyclists. A wide range of businesses can apply for bike-friendly certification, including restaurants and bars, lodging providers, shops, and museums.
