The TrailFinder application is made up of 6 main parts, which are outlined below.

A. Trail Search - The search pane is used to define criteria for your trail search, such as trail use, surface, length, and distance from a location.

B. Map Search - The map search is used to locate amenities on your map. These include bike shops, restaurants, hospitals, lodging and landmarks.

C. Main Map - The main map is an interactive map of multi-use trails in New York State. Controls on the map can be used to zoom in and out, pan, and identify trails, trail heads and B&B's.

D. Search Results - The Search Results pane displays the results of a trail search. A trail in the Search Results list can be clicked on to zoom to that trail.

E. B&B Search - The dropdown list in the B&B pane can be used to select and zoom to "Bicycle Friendly" B&B's.

F. Directions - The Directions pane displays directions to or from locations on the map. These directions can be printed.
