May is Bike Month

What is so special about May?

May is national bike month! Since 1956, May has been dedicated to the celebration of bikes and to encourage non cyclists and cyclists to get out and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. The League of American Bicyclists has sponsored this celebration of bicycling for decades. This month also includes the annual National Bike to Work Week and Bike to Work Day.
