Help #SaveLWCF

On September 30, Congress broke its promise to the American people by allowing our nation’s most successful conservation program to expire. The Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) had just celebrated 50 years of protecting our greatest outdoor treasures. Despite broad bipartisan support, the LWCF became a victim of Washington inaction.

Luckily, broad bipartisan support has rallied for the LWCF since the September 30 lapse in funding. Editorials in the New York Times and the Boston Globe supporting re-authorization of the LWCF have appeared in recent weeks. In his weekly address to the American people, President Obama urged Congress to reinstate the LWCF as a vital tool in protecting our planet for future generations.

NOW WE NEED YOU.
