Cycle the Erie Canal End-to-End Program
Whether you hike, bike, or kayak, completing the entire 360-mile Erie Canalway Trail is an accomplishment worth celebrating. In 2012, Parks & Trails New York and the New York State Canal Corporation created the End-to-End recognition program to celebrate the achievements of the trail's long distance travelers. Almost 2,000 people have since shared their End-to-End experience along the Erie Canalway Trail.
The End-to-End Recognition Program acknowledges those individuals who complete the entire length of the Erie Canalway Trail, between Buffalo and Albany. An End-to-Ender is anyone who has traveled the entire trail, by bike or foot. It can be in one multi-day trip or in segments over a long period of time.
How will End-to-Enders be recognized?
- A certificate to officially recognize your achievement
- An End-to-End decal for your car or window
- Inclusion in the End-to-Ender Honor Roll
